Born in Jakarta in 1972, Butet studied anthropology and Indonesian literature at Padjadjaran University, Bandung. In 1999 she joined the conservation ‘WARSI Jambi’, running an education program for Orang Rimba - an indigenous, nomadic group living in the Jambi forest. This work led her and four colleagues to establish the SOKOLA Institute, a non-profit organization providing educational opportunities for marginalized communities in remote Indonesia and literacy to more than 15,000 children and adults.

As an educator and activist, Butet received various international awards such as – UNESCO's "Man and Biosphere Award" 2001, TIME Magazine's "Hero of Asia" 2004, "Ashoka Fellow" 2006, "Asia Young Leader" 2007, "Young Global Leader" 2009, Ernst and Young Indonesian “Social Entrepreneur of the Year” 2012 and the 'Asia Nobel Prize' Ramon Magsaysay Award 2014. In 2011, she completed her Master's majoring in Applied Anthropology and Development Participation from the Australian National University. In 2012, she attended the Global Leadership and Public Policy course at Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University, USA.


Her Highness Princess Zatashah of Selangor, Malaysia, is an environmentalist and social advocate who’s been making change since the tender age of 10. Princess Zatashah is passionate about a multitude of causes - from anti-bullying to the importance of leading a sustainable lifestyle, this changemaker paves the way, choosing to lead by example.

She is a frequent volunteer at local soup kitchens for the homeless and has spearheaded a number of social campaigns in Malaysia: the #SayNo2Plastic campaign, the #zerofoodwastage campaign, and the #StandTogether anti-bullying campaign just to name a few.

Princess Zatashah believes in empowering kids to speak up for themselves and for others. Small moves can make a big difference as long as you make them with purpose.


Chesca is a multitalented force - breaking onto the scene as an actress and host. She’s appeared in a multitude of commercials, print ads, movies, and TV shows since the beginning of her career. Since becoming a mother of three, she has also added “children’s book author” to her long list of accomplishments, with her book series Team Kramer Values and Team Kramer Healthy Habits.

She is now a mom to three beautiful children. She enjoys gardening and growing her own vegetables, and loves to create beautiful tablescapes for her family and friends. She continues to flex her creativity through collaborations with various brands to design swimwear, shoes, and bags and home fragrances.

She believes in the importance of positivity and contributing to the community, sharing her parenting journey with her followers and all the lessons she has and continues to learn each day.


Rebekah grew up in an environment surrounded by passionate changemakers, an experience that inspired her to follow in their footsteps. As Co-Founder of The Social Co, she has led the movement to redefine philanthropy and how individuals can give back to their communities.

Together with her team at The Social Co, Rebekah has brought more than 100 individuals, 90 corporations and more than 250 partners together to raise awareness and funds for more than 50 lesser-known charities in Singapore.

From experience, Rebekah knows that the younger generation is passionate about making change. She made it her mission to bring young changemakers together. With the understanding that meaningful change goes beyond just raising funds, Rebekah believes in getting involved and being on the ground to more deeply understand what the community needs.


Maria Poonlertlarp is a Thai model, actress, singer, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Thailand in 2017 and finished in the Top Five of the Miss Universe 2017 competition. Since stepping into the spotlight, she has used her platform to raise awareness about causes she is passionate about - namely, environmental conservation and animal welfare.

As a self-proclaimed "earth child", Maria co-founded SOS Earth Thailand to raise awareness about the importance of caring about the earth with the hopes that their efforts will lead to better food systems, cleaner air and waterways. She believes that through learning to care for and love the environment, we can better care for and love ourselves and those around us.

Maria believes in the importance of living a life aligned with your values and that it is through this kind of authentic living, that we can begin to see small changes transform into big ones.
